July 4th: I'm back!
I've been away this weekend visiting some dear friends in a nearby city. I had a great time and feel very well rested. Now I'm ready to get back to blogging and my various Summer Projects.
I'm once again changing one of my projects starting on Monday. I'm swapping out reading Herodotus for reading Plato's Crito, because that is a text I will read in the fall and I want to prepare.
My wife and I did the dishes.
I swept the house.
I guess I checked the bathrooms for clutter, because I wiped them down pretty thoroughly.
I did clean the kitchen when I got up this morning!
And I did put away the load of clean clothes that we washed when we got home from our trip.
I also put all the boxes in order for the donation pickup tomorrow. I'm happy to be getting more things out of the house.
After my trip I'm so glad to be home. I had a great time I'm feeling a lot less burnt out and a lot more well rested and excite to get back to work and to blogging. I'll be posting some of my adventures over the next few days.

So, what got done today?
I cleaned the bathroom! It's bathroom cleaning day and it's done. I even put drano in the toilet and washed the window. I've been washing it every week because we have a mould problem. It comes back if I leave it alone so I've decided it's just something I need to do regularly until we have got all the spores out of the house. My wife and I did the dishes.

And what didn't?
I did not do a five minute pick up.
I didn't finish all my work for the day.
