Daily Check-Out

Today I put away the dishes, brushed my teeth, washed up, and had breakfast before I had to go. This was easier then yesterday because I didn't have to leave until 8am.

Once I got to school I did my martial arts. At 10:40am I realised how much it has become a habit to eat at 10am, because I was very hungry by that point.

I wanted to emulate Benjamin Franklin's daily schedule so I decided to ask "What good shall I do today?" I decided I would try to help people and be friendly even if I was feeling shy. I got to do both those things and met some fascinating people doing it. I'm happy with this.

This evening I had a 15 minute nap when I got home. I was tired but I didn't have time to nap more. I'm happy about this. Napping been taking up a significant portion of my evenings recently. I make a rule to always nap if I need to, because it gets rid of my headaches. But I'm proud of myself for taking care of my needs well enough not to get a headache.

This evening I finished all my essay questions for my take home exam. I may take a final look at the answers before I hand them in tomorrow, but if I don't thinks will still go well enough for me.

I did the vacuuming today and I also decluttered something! I finally tackled the mess at the bottom of the bedroom closet. The mess is gone now. It was a lot of random stuff. I simply dispersed some things. For example the space heater doesn't fit in storage so I simply decked it behind a set of drawers. A leg for my Wife's bed went on the window sill with the plastic blinds. I'm not happy with the distribution of stuff throughout the house but I am happy to have that space cleared. And now I know what was there.

I did my schedule and selected my only task: FINAL EXAM. It is a take home exam but it's still a big deal. I considered putting other things on my list and decided against it.
