Daily Check-Out for June 3rd
Today I wrote 500 words x 4. 2000 words. That's what I wanted to say. I wrote a great deal about the 1930s and the 1960s and how the ancient world is portrayed in film.
Today I put on my podcast, brushed my teeth, put away the dishes, and forced myself to go back and floss my teeth before making some tea and having a early skype call with an internet friend.
After that I did my martial arts practice: yoga, my daily exercises, forms, and meditation.
And then my Wife made me pancakes while I set the table and picked a bouquet of mint for a decoration. She recently got a knee brace and can stand. It's so nice doing chores and looking after the house together.
I worked on my take home exam on the Exercycle. As a person with ADHD having an outlet for my extra energy is amazing. I'm so grateful for it. It was a Christmas present for my wife from my Father in Law and I've used it about as much as she has.
Then a long hike and a nap before dinner. I want to get my headaches under control because napping takes a significant amount of my day at the moment.
We cleaned up after dinner: My wife started the dishwasher and swept while I did a five minute pickup.
Then after writing some more I mopped and straightened (by straightening I mean that I folded a blanket and put it nicely on a chair and looked at a table and felt happy that it was clean.)
I didn't do my language work today. (Neither Greek nor Linear B). I knew it wasn't possible today. Hopefully there will be a time when it is habitual to simply to my Greek, but it isn't now.
I also forgot to wash the last of the dishes. I'm going to do that right now. Ok, I did it. It really didn't take that long. It really doesn't take that long. Everything put together does seem to take a rather long time, but doing the last of the dishes by hand does not.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day so I'm off to bed.
