Four things that went well today:
1. Dishes and the basics.
There were so many dishes today! Yesterday was emergency mode so I wasn't home to do my evening chores. Today I caught up mostly in the morning and then my wife took over in the evening.
Besides dishes I also did a pick up, checked the bathrooms, and mopped. Mopping may seem big but the house isn't so big and it helps clean up all the hair that is produced by two long haired women living together.
2. I started my new language routines:
I read the first chapter of the Alpha to Omega textbook.
I memorised two vocabulary words and read the first paragraph sentences of Herodotus. I love the introduction so that made it easy.
3. Pantry day!
My wife and I planned out our week of food and ordered groceries and meat. We order meat separately because we only eat meat from a local farm that we have vetted.
4. Got the garbage in order.
This was a special project. This morning I was so tired from being at the hospital until 2am and I found the best way to deal was to just keep going. So I got all of the donations and garbage in order for a big special pickup. We are starting to have a usable storage room and space for our bikes. The house has gotten so much bigger since I started decluttering.
Four things that went poorly
1. I didn't allow that much time for relaxation. I slept but I didn't just chill. I want to allot more relaxation time.
2. It's almost 9pm and I'm just now finishing.
3. I have a lot of laundry to fold. I try not to start a new load until the old one is done but that didn't happen this time.
4. There is probably more but I'm so sleepy.
